Co-founder, Personal Strength + Fitness Coach

Brett qualified as a REPS Level 3 Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist in 2007. He has over 12 years experience and during this time has invested heavily in his continued professional development.

Brett is an entrepreneur and loves both the delivery of Personal Training and the business element too. Through this passion he has developed an understanding for the need to operate at optimal levels at all times. Brett's sessions look at everything from strength + fitness to human performance ensuring he gets the very best out of each client in every single session both mentally and physically. He truly gets to know his clients, understands their real needs and requirements and delivers a service to ensure they achieve consistently.

Brett started his career working at The Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall. In 2012 he left The Club and went into a joint venture with the Urban Retreat Group (Harrods) to set up Brett James at Urban Retreat – a boutique Personal Training Studio in the heart of Mayfair. In 2014, Brett and his wife Sandra secured the lease on St Anne’s Court, fully redeveloped the site and co-founded Soho Fitness Lab. They created the Soho Fitness Lab concept with a clear vision of how to provide customers with the very best in Personal Training, Physiotherapy and Nutritional Advice.

During his career Brett has also worked as Personal Trainer to The Prime Minister (The Right Honourable Gordon Brown).

Brett is a member of REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals).
